PDP stepped up its game at NAMM 2020, showing off a bevy of new drum sets. Here we highlight the 20th Anniversary kit with a matte black lacquer finish and black glass lacquer middle stripe, and “antique bronze” hardware appointments. The five-piece kit is made from European maple shells in 10”, 12”, 16” and 22” with a 14” snare drum. It’s only available for purchase in 2020 (hence the Anniversary title).
The DW Subsidiary also unveiled the affordable New Yorker bop kit with poplar shells in 16” kick, 14” snare, 10” tom and 13” floor tom. It’s available in “pale rose,” “electric green,” and “black onyx sparkle” finishes.
